Safe and suitable physical activity throughout pregnancy helps keep you and your baby healthy. In this childbirth preparation class, you will learn how to prepare your body for labour, birth and parenting. We will discuss using a multi-faceted approach to pre-birth readiness that encourages stretching, mental centering, and focused breathing.

We’ll cover the following during each trimester: 

  • First trimester: focus on fitness for strong hips, thighs and pelvis

  • Second trimester: focus on spinal flexibility

  • Last trimester: get ready for birthing through therapeutic yoga to create balance and comfort

We’ll also provide a diet plan to take away the guess-work from how to have high quality meals that will prepare you for child birth. We’ll also share information on breast care and feeding hygiene, fitness and exercise post delivery, and managing the baby’s needs. 

The safe space of our prenatal class will allow you to freely discuss any concerns associated with changes to your body. For new moms and moms-to-be. No previous yoga experience necessary.
